Kiosk
The hardware of the Sunrise system consists of two main components, the unattended point-of-sale kiosk and the wireless campsite control unit. The kiosk is an outdoor-rated, rugged design, allowing for campground customers to quickly and easily select their campsite and make payment. Its familiar and friendly design will let customers know that checking in will be convenient and efficient.
- Touch Screen Monitor
This large, bright, sunlight-readable touch screen monitor makes it easy for customers to select a campsite and pay for their stay. Its rugged design means continued reliability for you and your customers. - Credit Card Reader
This outdoor, weather-safe card reader allows customers to provide payment via credit card. The card reader can also be used for customer loyalty cards. - Receipt Printer
While keeping the printer safe from the elements, the enclosure also keeps uncollected receipts from blowing off and creating litter. Automated low-paper notifications for managers will ensure customers always get a receipt. Quick access via the printer door makes the task of replacing printer paper a breeze.
Campsite control unit
The campsite control unit is the device that controls the utilities at each site. This unit is activated by the customer’s selections at the kiosk. The system’s standard set-up includes the utilities listed below and is also customizable for your specific needs.
New wireless technology allows for inexpensive units that provide utilities control and monitoring without digging up your campground. The control units communicate with each other in a secure, fault-resistant wireless network.
- Electrical Control
With this option, the customer selects the desired electrical output, which is then activated at the campsite upon payment. All electrical power can be turned on at once, or you can choose to provide a choice of 50amp, 30amp, or other electrical options. - Water Valve
This device controls the output of water at the campsite. The valve is easy to install at the campsite due to the wireless control unit. Your current landscaping will remain unchanged and no ditches or trenches will be dug across your campground. - Internet
The Sunrise system provides wireless internet to your campground. Access to this service can also be controlled based on the camper’s selection and payment at the kiosk.
A Flexible System
